Went to Coney Island on the 4th of July this year.
Since 2005 there has been a mural across the street from the train station, a huge piece by the artists Os Gêmeos, twin brothers from Brazil. It's a kind of dream-scape with multiple characters that seem to be based on fairy tales. It's much too big to take a picture of the whole thing, so I hit some of my favorite points. I love the piece, that block is much better for it.
